In the field of ERP projects Software Quality Lab can support you in the areas stated in the table below. 

The efforts stated in the table and the assignation of the processes to the topics are just proposals based upon our experience, and they can vary in concrete projects. We can accomodate these flexilbly in order to match your priorities. You can naturally require other than proposed services, or change the efforts spent on different parts of the project.

The goal here is to support the project leader (program director) and to relieve him/her by taking over the problematic tasks, as e.g. the project controlling topics or the project-related quality management.

 
Furthermore, our consultants are available as "sparring partners" for the project leader in difficult situations or for questions related to project management. This way help is available to the project leader everytime he/she needs it. 

Test - AUTOMATION

 

 

 

  • Creation of automated tests for the efficient testing of new versions or other changes to the ERP software
  • Execution of automated tests, depending on your needs

     

The actual expenses for the automation can only be estimated after the completion of the test specifications.

Experience shows the effort is about  2-3 times higher than that by the preparation of manual tests.

This effort should be counted with in every software lifecycle (of 10-15 years), as it lowers the expenses by every new release (often several times per year) very significantly.

 

If you take advantage in all specified services of Software Quality Lab, the savings on a project cost can reach typically 5-15% of the total project cost according to our experience, depending on the amount of used services.

This is based on our conviction that we can help you avoid mistakes during the project as well as the costs related to them.
